This was the kind of game that the Cardinals of 2004 and 2005 thrived in. Jason Marquis kept them in the game with 8 strong innings. Jim Edmonds hit a game tying 2-run shot in the 7th. The Cards bullpen kept the Dodgers off the board and Albert Pujols rewarded the loyal fans who stuck around on this wet Thursday night with a walk off homer in the 14th.
